Winter Photography in the New Forest National ParkWinter Photography in the New Forest National Park
Out of all the seasons, winter is probably my favourite time for photography in the fabulous New Forest National Park.
Over this winter, I will again be going out on my normal to capture the winter scene.
These photography forays may be relatively last minute, on occasions with no more than 48hours at best and will be totally weather dependent. If it's misty we'll go one place, if it's frosty we will go to another, if it's raining we won't go!
At this time of year with soft subdued lighting, we can take good photographs at many times of day from pre-dawn to post dusk so these trips may be a morning, afternoon or all day.
You will have to be fairly confident with your camera to be able to gain the most from these photo workshops and a tripod is pretty much essential for a great many images because of the low light conditions. (Yes I know there is ISO to play with but I teach ‘best practise’!)
Please note, only those who have asked to be kept informed for these specific trips will be emailed. This list is separate to my Newsletter mailing list so if you are interested, then email me to that effect and when the opportunities arise, I will email you with the details. E Mail me Also, unusually for me on a workshop, as this is a 'Join Me' event, I may be taking my own images as well at times.
Flapjack, bananas, coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be available to fend off the cold, which together with the hands on tuition, location knowledge and transport, is included in the price which varies according to the length of the session. From £69 to £125 per person.
I know I'm stating the obvious here, but to make it clear, transport to the meeting point, car park fees if applicable and anything not specifically mentioned above as being included, is not included in the price.
So, to capture the winter mood in the New Forest, email me and I will keep you updated. This is one set of events which won't generally be added to the Newsletter updates as the dates are only set last minute. The only way to hear about them is to email me your interest above.
