Just returned from running a two day workshop in Jersey. Tremendous place with lots of photographic opportunities - beaches, lighthouses, waves, rocks, fishing boats, woodland streams tumbling over rocks, vast tides, good food and duty free! I'm already thinking of arranging a winter workshop there, perhaps January or February?

Very busy at present, catching up after the Jersey trip, with the first Exbury Gardens Photototrek this Saturday (11th) and the last Mottisfont Phototrail of the year on the Sunday. The following weekend will see the start of a small exhibition at Mottisfont which lasts a week culminating in the prize giving of the Mottisfont Photographic competition on the Sunday 26th with prizes from Canon and Lowepro amongst others.

It looks like we'll be running more events at Mottisfont next year together with a new National Trust property - more news on this soon.

There are still a few workshops coming up - Portland and Kimmeridge together with a couple more PhotoTreks this year.

With Christmas coming up, if you're short of a pressie, why not give someone you love a Workshop or Phototrek voucher? They're also good for business gifts and staff presents. Just a thought.

With Canon now in association with PhotoNewForest, one of my offshoots, I'm looking forward to trying out the new 5D MK2 due soon. The existing 5D produces remarkably clean images so the new one will be good to see.

I am now so far behind with image processing it's ridiculous and I am still shooting! I spent a few days on the Isle of Wight recently - that's another good place - together with requested shots locally, Jersey images, Purbeck and the New Forest, I really need 36 hours in a day at the moment. I'm also off to shoot a Christmas card next week for a client aghh! No doubt I'll moan when it goes quiet as well.

As well as the Mottisfont exhibition, I'm showing at Hilliers near Romsey in November and Highcliffe Castle later next month to add to the workload, and I'm need to write another article for the Southern Echo Weekend magazine too! Time for a drink!
Keep exposing
